Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a superstar who crossed over completely from traditional music into pop culture and became the pop icon of the future that will last forever and conquering all of the world. Swift shed country like it was another layer, showing that she is perhaps the smartest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. One who can harness the mood of times to make her music personal, and sing in the other direction. It was apparent in her earliest songs especially in her neo tribute of Tim McGraw. On her second release Fearless (2008) Swift showcased a writer getting to understand herself. The album ended up with a lot of reach not just on the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles due to the Top Ten hits Love Story and You Belong with Me but throughout the world, with a particular success with Australia, U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift managed to build upon her progress through Speak Now almost two year following. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she became part of a music scene with a clear sense of where she belonged. She was on top of the charts even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums folklore & Evermore in the year 2020.
